Job summary

Hydra X is seeking an Operations & Finance intern in Singapore to gain exposure to both operations and financial industry knowledge as the firm navigates tokenised capital markets.

You will work with the custody operations, assist in account opening, settlement, payments, and reconciliation, and participate in system development and reporting. This role may be full-time or part-time, with onboarding and client servicing exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Singapore university and interested in financial markets and fintech.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Basic understanding of securities/derivatives/fixed income/FX and related market practices.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset toward custody operations.
• Driven and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the operations (custody) team.
• Participate in business-as-usual processes (account opening, settlement, payments, reconciliation) executed accurately and timely.
• Participate in system development projects.
• Prepare regular statistical and management reports.
• Support the review and documentation of operational processes.
• Support client onboarding (AML/KYC) and client servicing.

We are looking for a driven individual to join us as an Operations & Finance intern. This internship may be full-time or part-time. Interns will have a good exposure to both operations and financial industry knowledge, and will benefit from being at the forefront of traditional financial institutions’ transition to blockchain technology.

• Basic understanding or experience in securities / derivatives / fixed income / FX instruments and market practices in issuance, trading and custody operations
• Self-motivated and particularly interested in custody operations
