Job summary

SINGHAI ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Bunker Operations Executive to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day marine fuel deliveries to vessels.

You will liaise with vessel owners, charterers, suppliers, bunker traders, and terminals to ensure safe, efficient, timely and compliant bunker operations. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a capacity to work in a time-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcomed
• Knowledge of marine fuels, bunker delivery procedures, and shipping operations is a plus
• Familiarity with bunker documentation, BDNs, bunker surveys, and quantity/quality measurement is an advantage
• Good understanding of maritime safety and regulatory requirements
• Rotation of on-duty personnel phone, to be contactable after hours if issues arise

Responsibilities

• Bunker tanker fleet planning
• Liaise with agents in various Chinese ports; read/write Chinese email correspondence
• Liaise with vessel agents, Masters, Chief Engineers, suppliers, bunker craft operators, terminals, and other stakeholders
• Monitor bunker delivery operations and promptly address delays, changes, or discrepancies
• Review bunker delivery documents, including BDNs, quantity figures, and supporting documentation
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation
• Provide operational support to the commercial/trading team as required

Job Summary

• The Bunker Operations Executive is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of marine fuel (bunker) deliveries to vessels. The role involves liaising with vessel owners, charterers, suppliers, bunker traders, bunker craft operators, terminals, and relevant authorities to ensure safe, efficient, timely, and compliant bunker operations.


• The successful candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive environment and knowledge of the shipping industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Bunker tanker fleet planning.


• Liaise with agents in various Chinese ports. Some degree of proficiency to read/write Chinese email correspondence is required.


• Liaise with vessel agents, Masters, Chief Engineers, suppliers, bunker craft operators, terminals, and other stakeholders.


• Monitor bunker delivery operations and promptly address operational delays, changes, or discrepancies.


• Review bunker delivery documents, including bunker delivery notes (BDNs), quantity figures, and supporting documentation.


• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.


• Provide operational support to the commercial/trading team as required.
