is seeking an organized Bunker Operations Coordinator to anchor our bunker surveying team in Singapore’s busy port, linking vessels, agencies and surveyors to ensure smooth operations. You will plan and optimize daily schedules, oversee pre- and post-survey coordination, monitor vessel movements and ETAs, and maintain real-time communication with ship masters and bunkering partners.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or related discipline.
• Experience in bunker surveying operations or maritime logistics preferred (entry-level considered with qualification).
• Familiarity with bunkering standards and port regulations (SS 600, TR 48, SS 648, ISO 17020).
• Good understanding of port rules, vessel scheduling permits, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, program, and manage daily bunker surveyor schedules.
• Coordinate pre- and post-survey activities to ensure surveyors have data and equipment.
• Monitor vessel movements, ETAs, and communicate with ship agencies and bunker suppliers.
• Maintain real-time, accurate operational logs, schedules, and compliance documents.

In this role, you will be the critical link connecting vessels, agencies, and surveyors to ensure flawless maritime operations in one of the world's busiest ports.

Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

As a Bunker Operations Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end logistical lifecycle of our survey operations:

• Schedule Optimization: Actively plan, program, and manage daily schedules for bunker surveyors to maximize field efficiency.
• End-to-End Planning: Handle comprehensive pre- and post-survey coordination, ensuring surveyors are fully equipped with the data and parameters they need before heading out.
• Vessel Tracking: Proactively monitor vessel movements, status updates, and ETAs, coordinating closely with all relevant maritime stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain seamless, real-time communication with ship agencies, vessel masters, and bunker suppliers to preempt and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the absolute accuracy and timeliness of all operational logs, schedules, and compliance documentation.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who understands the fast-moving nature of port operations and possesses strong industry knowledge:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
• Experience: Prior experience in bunker surveying operations or maritime logistics is highly advantageous (open to promising entry-level candidates with the right qualification).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with bunkering standards and frameworks, specifically SS 600, TR 48, SS 648, and ISO 17020.
• Regulatory Compliance: Good understanding of port rules, regulations, and vessel scheduling permits.
• Field Readiness: Comfortable with occasional vessel boarding when operational needs arise.
• Soft Skills: Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage both internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.
