Job summary

NISHIO RENT ALL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Operations Manager to monitor, direct and coordinate the Operations Department, driving efficient processes and continuous improvement to boost team performance and the company's overall results.

You will collaborate with the team, other departments and external parties, enforce proper procedures, ensure timely document clearance, arrange daily equipment deliveries and pickups, and assist in solving issues to prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities

• Perform Operations duties and work with the team, other departments and external parties, enforcing proper procedures in daily operations.
• Enforce timely document clearance and keep documents organized, updating the system daily and coordinating with Accounts for monthly closings.
• Arrange daily delivery/collection of machines to and from the yard and customers, ensuring smooth equipment handling.
• Coordinate daily transportation of rental equipment to meet customer requests on time.
• Investigate and resolve complaints about transportation, documentation and missing items; assist in preventing repeats.
• Handle incoming calls, screen and transfer to the appropriate person-in-charge for further assistance.

About the role

Monitor, control, direct and coordinate the Operations Department duties and responsibilities while continuously promoting improvement through more effective and efficient approach to boost the whole team's performance and Company's overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Operations duties and work closely with the team member, other Departments as well as external parties (e.g. Customers, Suppliers). Enforces the right procedures to be followed properly in daily operations duties.
• Enforces timely documents clearance and make sure all documents are well-organized and properly handled. Enforces daily updating of information into the system and works with Accounts Department to meet the monthly closing requirements.
• Arrange daily delivery/collection of machine for an efficient, well-prepared and smooth equipment handling to/from our yard and customers as well as minimize mistakes/inaccuracy in documentations checking/other requirements to be fulfilled prior to delivery.
• Arrange daily transportation of rental equipment to be delivered/collected on time as per Customer's request.
• Investigate and resolves complaints regarding transportation, documentations and non-returned items/lost items issue and other issues related to operations in general. Assist Operations Manager in problem-solving and finding a solution to prevent repeating the same mistake in the future.
• General handling of incoming calls; answers, screens and transferring of calls to the respective Person-In-Charge for further assistance.
