Job summary

Woodlands Transport Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support and enhance daily ground operations. You will manage subcontractors and crews, coordinate incident responses, assist in route planning, and ensure vehicle inspections to maintain high safety and service standards.

The role requires a diploma or degree, at least two years of operational experience, preferably in subcontractor or driver management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree or equivalent qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years of operational experience, preferably in subcontractor or driver management.
• Experience in the private bus industry.
• Familiarity with working in a school environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to start early at 0600hrs and work a 5-day week.
• Ability to commute between school and office at Ubi during working hours.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors and crews to ensure timely delivery of transportation services
• Respond promptly to subcontractor enquiries to maintain smooth operations
• Coordinate and manage incident responses to minimize disruption and ensure safety
• Update the CMS system accurately to reflect operational changes and incidents
• Oversee day-to-day ground operations to maintain service quality and compliance
• Assist in planning transportation routes to optimize efficiency and coverage
• Prepare operational reports to inform management decisions
• Source and evaluate subcontractors to maintain a reliable vendor network
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with management by undertaking additional tasks to support business objectives
