Job summary

AVON CLEANING SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a hands-on Site Supervisor to recruit, deploy and manage site staff for multiple sites. You will plan rosters, respond to client needs, and ensure high standards per contract while coaching team and maintaining good relations.

Degree or Diploma holders with 2–3 years of manpower management experience are preferred; fluency in English and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma required.
• 2–3 years hands-on manpower management preferred.
• Willing to work 6 days including Public Holidays.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and deploy workers and supervisors for sites.
• Manage manpower on site to ensure daily operations.
• Plan and schedule rosters based on manpower.
• Resolve on-site operational issues promptly.
• Handle client complaints and emergency calls.
• Ensure contract requirements and quality standards.
• Coach and guide direct reports on work-related issues.
• Conduct inspections and take corrective actions on underperformance.
• Perform any additional duties as required.

• Recruit and deploy workers/ supervisors for existing and new sites
• Effective instruction and management of manpower on site to ensure delivery of daily operations
• Plan and schedule rosters based on available manpower
• Take charge and resolve operational ground issues when the needs arise
• Handle clients' complaints and attend to emergency calls
• Fulfil clients' expectations and requirements and ensure good customer relations
• Coaching and guiding direct reports on work-related issues
• Ensure a high standard of performance as per contract requirements
• Conduct inspections to monitor and evaluate the work undertaken by staff and take immediate corrective measures to improve below-standard performance
• Any additional duties (including hands-on duties) as required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma Holders
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manpower management is preferred
• Able to accept 6 working days including Public Holidays and last-minute work assignments
• Fluency in written and verbal English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive work attitude, able to work independently and in a team
