Job summary

Dimerco Express Group in Singapore is seeking a logistics professional to manage shipment processing, documentation, and coordination across teams. You will use the in-house system, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain accurate records for shipments.

Collaborate with warehouse vendors, transporters, customers, and overseas offices to resolve issues, monitor shipments, and comply with procedures. A diploma in logistics and strong communication skills are preferred, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or a related discipline.
• Preferably with relevant experience in air freight operations, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Good knowledge of air freight shipment processes and documentation.
• Good coordination and communication skills with internal and external parties.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Fully utilise the inhouse system for shipment processing, updates, documentation, and operational tracking.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment arrangements and timely completion of required documentation.
• Monitor incoming shipments upon receipt of pre-alerts from overseas stations, agents, or customers.
• Review shipment details and follow up on outstanding information or documentation to ensure smooth shipment processing.
• Coordinate and organise shipment arrangements with warehouse vendors, transporters, and other service providers.
• Monitor shipment clearance and delivery status to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers.
• Liaise with overseas offices, customers, vendors, transporters, and internal departments to resolve operational issues and shipment discrepancies.
• Ensure all shipment records and operational updates are accurately maintained in the relevant systems.
• Escalate shipment delays, operational issues, or exceptions to the relevant supervisor or management promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, custom compliance and applicable operational and security requirements.
• Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management.
