RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Operations Excellence Pharmacist to lead efficiency improvements across pharmacy operations in the West region.

You will analyse workflows, deploy KPI dashboards, and partner with IT to translate requirements into system solutions. The role focuses on data-driven decision making, automation opportunities, and cross-functional transformation to raise productivity and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science (Pharmacy) or related field and Singapore pharmacy licensing.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and process improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Experience with data analysis, dashboards, and operational reporting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence initiatives across pharmacy operations to enhance productivity, service quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
• Analyse pharmacy workflows and operational data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow management, inventory, and manpower deployment.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, operational reports, and analytics for decision-making.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and digital transformation to address operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation and automation of manual processes.
• Partner with IT teams to translate requirements into system solutions and manage implementations.
• Serve as pharmacy system superuser, providing user training and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to cross-functional transformation initiatives involving analytics and process improvement.
• Monitor industry developments and recommend initiatives to strengthen operations.

Our client is a Healthcare Supply Chain Solutions industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Operations Excellence Pharmacist to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in West.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive operational excellence initiatives across pharmacy operations to enhance productivity, service quality, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
• Analyse pharmacy workflows and operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where performance can be improved.
• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, covering workflow management, inventory, manpower deployment, and resolution of operational issues.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, operational reports, and analytics to provide meaningful insights and support business decision-making.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to address operational challenges and improve overall pharmacy performance.
• Identify and implement opportunities for digitalisation and automation, particularly for manual and repetitive pharmacy processes.
• Partner with IT teams and technology vendors to translate operational requirements into effective system solutions, including system testing, implementation, and enhancements.
• Serve as the pharmacy system superuser, providing user training, supporting adoption, troubleshooting system issues, and managing contingency processes.
• Contribute to cross-functional business transformation initiatives involving process optimisation, analytics, digitalisation, and operational improvement.
• Monitor developments across the healthcare, technology, and wider industry landscape and recommend initiatives to strengthen pharmacy operations and service quality.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Science (Pharmacy) or or related field.
• Registered pharmacist with relevant Singapore licensing.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, workflow management and process improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools is preferred.
• Experience in data analysis, dashboard development or operational reporting will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, automation, AI or digital transformation will be an added advantage.
