Job summary

People Solutions Partner is seeking an experienced Operations Engineering Director to oversee manufacturing and engineering operations in Batam, Indonesia.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead multiple functions, drive operational excellence, meet production targets, and manage costs while collaborating with HR and other functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's/MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant management experience.
• Experience managing P&L and overall operational performance.
• Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and delivery are completed on time, in full, to customer specifications and at competitive cost.
• Define operational and financial goals.
• Set and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Develop and execute operational programs aligned with strategic plans and annual goals.
• Review key operational indicators with senior management monthly.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.
• Oversee purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Work with other functions to establish strategic plans and goals.

Our client is an established manufacturing company with operations in Batam, Indonesia. The company is looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee its manufacturing and engineering operations and drive operational excellence.

About the Role

The Operations Engineering Director will report directly to the General Manager and take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business.

You will lead multiple operational functions and ensure that production targets, customer requirements, cost objectives and business goals are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
