Job summary

GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience through challenging projects and exposure to innovative minds.

You will collaborate with the operations team to focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) and learn daily management systems and standard work. You will work with engineers to industrialize new repair processes, develop standard work, and gain deep knowledge in gas turbine component repair.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Material and/or Industrial Engineering.
• Competent with MS Office applications.
• Being inclusive and having the imagination and courage to make changes.
• Possess good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our operations team to deliver on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) priorities.
• Gain insights into operations management using daily management systems and standard work.
• Industrialize new repair processes and establish standard work for operational execution.
• Gain exposure to repair technology and develop depth of technical knowledge in gas turbine component repair processes.
• Analyze data and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
• Identify wastes and drive reduction/elimination in SQDC using lean tools and kaizen events.
