Job summary

GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. offers an internship to gain hands-on experience in product qualification, operational planning and repairs on gas turbine engine components.

You will work with engineers and the operations team to learn repair processes and to support delivery against SQDC priorities. You will develop practical knowledge of gas turbine repair technologies, while contributing to standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mechanical/manufacturing/aerospace/material/industrial engineering.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Ability to communicate well and be inclusive.
• Willingness to drive changes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) priorities.
• Industrialize new repair processes and establish standard work for operational execution.
• Analyze data to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Identify wastes and drive lean improvements through kaizen activities.
