Job summary

Eng Kong Container Agencies (Pte) Ltd in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Admin Assistant to support daily container logistics operations. The role involves data entry, updating container movements, and handling cash receipts in a busy environment.

You will work a 5.5-day week with alternate Saturday off and receive AWS and various bonus, medical and insurance benefits, plus 2-way transport from Boon Lay MRT.

Qualifications

• PC literate and proficient with basic computer applications.
• Familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and efficiently with a strong customer service mindset.
• Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, paying attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional manner.
• Willing to perform OT.

Responsibilities

• Update container movements.
• Perform data entry and maintain proper filing system.
• Collect cash payment and issue receipt.
• Liaise with external parties pertaining to releasing/collection of containers.
• Liaise internally to ensure smooth operations.
