Job summary

OCBC Singapore is seeking an Associate to support the implementation and maintenance of the department's risk, compliance, and governance framework, while providing operational help to Relationship Associates where applicable.

You will work on data governance, regulatory compliance, BCM, reporting, and policy maintenance, collaborating with Internal Audit, ORM, and product teams to strengthen risk controls and support business growth. Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years in Compliance, Operational Risk, Governance, Audit, AML/KYC, Relationship Management Support, or Financial Services industry will have an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under tight timelines while maintaining accuracy.
Proactive, self-motivated team player with ownership and willingness to learn.
Familiarity with MAS regulatory guidelines would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Validate operational and regulatory risks documented in the RCSA for new and existing processes, ensuring consistency across the department.
Monitor compliance with key controls to mitigate risks.
Identify control gaps and track corrective actions for timely remediation of findings.
Liaise with Internal Audit, External Audit, ORM, RCU, and other second-line functions to ensure timely closure of actions.
Maintain departmental policies, procedures, risk registers, and governance documentation.
