Job summary

OCBC invites applications for a regulatory compliance and risk governance role in Singapore. You will help ensure consumer banking regulatory compliance, cover risk governance and cross-border matters, and collaborate with partners to implement effective controls.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in retail banking, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and proficiency in MS Office and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Degree holders aspiring to develop a career in risk management.
• Audit, compliance or risk management experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and cross-border considerations.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage the business to pre-empt potential market conduct risk and cross-border compliance matters, establish compliance policies and assist in identifying and implementing measures to mitigate gaps.
• Advise business partners on compliance matters, participate in projects so that internal processes and controls are robust.
• Collaborate with business partners to operationalize regulatory requirements in the most effective and efficient manner, including providing requirements for digitalisation projects.
• Conduct training to new and existing staff on regulatory and operational requirements relating to the sale of investment products and cross-border marketing guidelines.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in all lines of defence and deliver training on conduct risk topics to uplift conduct and culture standards.
• Prepare management reports to update senior management.
