Responsibilities

• Led finansiell planering, rapportering och resultatstyrning för APAC Commercial Operations och RDCs och säkerställ finansiell rapportering, prognoser, budgetar och efterlevnad av ABB:s standarder.
• Driv optimering av Working Capital genom lagerhantering, E&O-reserver och lönsamhetsanalyser över RDCs och LSOs i regionen.
• Tillhandahåll finansiell analys och strategiskt affärsstöd genom övervakning av operativ prestanda, risker och möjligheter samt rekommendationer till regionalt tillväxtarbete.
• Samverka med Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Controlling, region- och globalt ledarskap för att stärka finansiell kontroll och affärsprocesser.

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

As an Operational Finance Manager - Commercial Operations APAC, you will be responsible for driving financial management, reporting, and governance across ABB's Commercial Operations network in the Asia Pacific region. Working closely with Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs), Local Sales Organizations (LSOs), Commercial Operations, and Finance leadership teams, you will provide financial insights, optimize working capital, and inventory performance, support strategic initiatives, and ensure compliance with ABB's financial standards while enabling data-driven business decisions.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing and supporting ELSB and ELSP regional strategic RDC initiatives and plans for APAC Region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead financial planning, reporting, and performance management activities for APAC Commercial Operations and Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs), ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and compliance with ABB financial standards and closing requirements.
• Drive working capital optimization by managing inventory deployment, excess and obsolete (E&O) provisions, profitability analysis, pricing governance, and operational cost performance across RDCs and Local Sales Organizations within the region.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic business support by monitoring operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities, evaluating business alternatives, and delivering actionable recommendations to support regional growth and operational excellence initiatives.
• Partner with Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Controlling, Regional Leadership, and Global Finance teams to strengthen financial controls, improve business processes, support regional distribution strategies, and ensure alignment with financial objectives and governance requirements.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance, controlling, FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance roles within a multinational or matrix organization.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, financial controls, and management reporting.
• Experience supporting commercial operations, supply chain, distribution center operations, inventory management, or working capital optimization initiatives is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into business insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across regional and global organizations.
• Fluent in English with a proactive, results-oriented mindset, demonstrating ownership, continuous improvement, integrity, compliance, and strong business acumen.
