Job summary

ABB Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore seeks a seasoned project leader to execute medium to large E-House, Oil & Gas, and Offshore Wind projects with international clients. You will ensure adherence to ABB’s policies, quality, HSE, financial targets and schedules, while coordinating internal and external resources.

The role operates with a LI-Hybrid work model and involves steering project teams through execution, tender involvement, and contract close-out, in line with ABB’s management framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with ~15 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading E-House, Electrifications and Automation in Oil & Gas offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and oversee execution planning, monitoring, and control to meet goals.
• Provide leadership for continuous improvement and simplification.
• Support Sales and Tendering teams in early tender involvement.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.
• Define project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management with Project Controller.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium to large size and complex E-House, Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind projects with international clients. You will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB’s policy, framework, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments

The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Offshore Solutions Business of ABB, based in Singapore and will be accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.

• Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.

• Supporting the Sales and Tendering Teams through early involvement in tenders.

• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

• Defining, jointly with Project Controller, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans according to ABB management Framework.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in handling project teams and ability to engage and motivate people of different cultures.

• Ability to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in other functions like Engineering, supply chain management along with strong project management skills.

• Possess an enhanced knowledge in handling complex E-house, Electrifications and Automation projects within Oil and Gas, Offshore, FPSO, etc.

• Degree in Engineering with around 15 years or more of project management experience.

• You are at ease communicating in English and has good collaboration and presentation skills
