Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operational Excellence professional to embed The Maersk Way across Ocean Operations. You will drive continuous improvement, eliminate waste, and anchor new ways of working through MOS.

You will collaborate with global teams to translate improvement opportunities into sustainable results using data-driven insights. You will coach teams on The Maersk Way, Kaizen, and problem solving, ensuring improvements become part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive change.
• Continuous Improvement experience; Black Belt certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive and embed The Maersk Way across Ocean Operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned to Ocean Operations priorities.
• Work with regional and global Operational Excellence teams to implement initiatives through MOS.
• Identify, solve, and sustainably eliminate operational inefficiencies and process waste.
• Ensure improvement findings and best practices are shared across areas and regions.
• Validate trade-offs between cost and quality to support operational objectives.
• Leverage global data products and insights to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
• Ensure improvements are incorporated into operating routines and sustained over time.
• Coach teams on The Maersk Way, problem solving, and Kaizen practices.
• Ensure adherence to MOS standards and SOPs; accountable for implementation and sustainment.
