Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an Operation Sputter Process Engineer to tune sputtering equipment, set process parameters, and drive high-quality output with minimal defects. You will monitor equipment, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement across the manufacturing line.

The role requires a degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or related Engineering, plus 3–4 years in manufacturing/ semiconductor process roles; familiarity with Minitab and MS Office;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science / Chemistry / Nanotechnology or related Engineering.
• Diploma with 3–4 years in manufacturing or semiconductor process roles.
• Understanding of sputtering / thin film / deposition technology.
• Good knowledge of Minitab & Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

About the job Operation Sputter Process Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the sputtering machine is tuned to achieve higher capacity.
• Adjust the sputtering parameter to maintain high-quality output and minimizing defects.
• After Machine PM & changed material, perform conditioning to achieve guzik and start Mass production ASAP.
• Regularly monitor and maintain the sputtering equipment to ensure it remains in optimal condition.
• Optimize the sputtering process to maximize the efficient use of materials and reducing waste.
• Work closely with teams from different departments to ensure smooth operations and address any cross-functional issues.
• Analyze data from the sputtering process to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Base on data analysis, make precise adjustments to the sputtering machine to enhance performance and quality.
• Implement a continuous improvement approach to keep refining the sputtering process and achieve better results over time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science / Chemistry/ Nanotechnology, or any related Engineering.
• Diploma with 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing / semiconductorprocess-related role.
