Job summary

vero engineering pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations In-charge to lead site execution for piping and mechanical projects. You will monitor daily site activities, ensure safety, and drive progress against the schedule while controlling costs.

You will attend site and client meetings, prepare and update MS Project schedules, and manage BOQ, manpower, and budget variations. This role requires coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Experience leading site execution on piping and mechanical projects.
• Strong planning/scheduling skills and MS Project experience.
• Proven ability to manage cost control, budgets and variations.
• Quality assurance aligned with ITPs, WPS/PQR, and client specs.
• HSE compliance and safe site leadership.

Job description

• - We are looking for an experienced Operations In-charge to lead site execution, quality, planning, and cost control for our piping and mechanical projects, making sure work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Monitor and control daily site activities and progress against the project schedule and willing to work in shift
• - Attend all ongoing site and client meetings and follow up on action points
• - Prepare and update project schedules in MS Project
• - Prepare piping and mechanical estimates (BOQ, material take-off, manpower, cost)
• - Ensure quality control as per approved ITP, WPS/PQR, and client specifications
• - Review and approve drawings and isometrics (AutoCAD / CADWorx / Plant 3D)
• - Monitor workers' timesheets and wages each month, and control manpower costs
• - Ensure HSE compliance and a safe working culture at site
• - Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
• - Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management
• - Track project budget, variations, and claims
• - Lead and develop site teams (supervisors, QC, planning, foremen)
