Job summary

YCH GROUP PTE LTD seeks a Warehouse Operations professional in Singapore to oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring adequate manpower and timely execution of shipments. You will coordinate with customer service teams, resolve complaints, and maintain stock accuracy through rigorous inventory control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure adequate manpower.
• Plan and coordinate with customer service teams for timely shipments and deliveries.
• Fulfil customer requests and promptly resolve complaints.
• Ensure inventory transactions are completed on time and stock accuracy is maintained.
• Conduct inventory counts and verify stock discrepancies.
• Ensure security and accountability of materials with inventory control.
• Maintain filing of documents and ensure timely, accurate records.
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
• Supervise a team of assistant supervisors and material handlers for container stuffing/un-stuffing.
• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards and ensure safe work procedures.
• Evaluate performance and provide training; conduct disciplinary action if required.
• Ensure activities comply with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and proper functioning of tools and equipment.
• Comply with EHS, Quality, legal and security requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job description

1. Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in warehouse by ensuring adequate manpower to perform warehouse duties.
2. Plan and coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution.
3. To fulfil customers’ request and immediate resolve if complaint raise.
4. To ensure all inventory transaction are completed within the timeline and maintain stock accuracy.
5. To conduct inventory count and assist to verify stock discrepancies.
6. To ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
7. To ensure filing of documents are completed on time and accurately.
8. To organize the layout of warehouse and ensure effective utilization of warehouse spacing.
9. To supervise a team of assistant supervisor and material handlers for stuffing and un-stuffing of containers for export and import shipments.
10. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
11. Suggest improvements to eliminate hazards, feedback on inadequacy of operational control, risk assessment and safe work procedure.
12. Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience, conduct disciplinary action, and recommend dismissal as required.
13. Ensure functional activities integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
14. To ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse and ensure proper and safe functioning of warehouse tools, facilities, and equipment.
15. In full compliance to all EHS, Quality, legal and security requirements of the company.
16. Performs other job-related functions as and when required by superior.
