Job summary

Red Hat Asia-Pacific PTE LTD is seeking an OpenShift Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) focused on AI to help customers adopt modern platforms and drive AI workloads on OpenShift. You will lead architecture walkthroughs, run technical workshops, deliver deep-dive demos, and collaborate with sales, product and engineering to test and demonstrate AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent for enterprise accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into Red Hat solutions addressing challenges and opportunities.
• Deep knowledge of OpenShift and Application Services products, or familiarity with Red Hat offerings.
• Experience with IaaS or PaaS solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and AI infrastructure needs.
• Ability to engage with technical stakeholders on AI strategy and platform requirements.

Role Overview

RedHat is looking for an OpenShift Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) focused on AI. In this role, you will help clients adopt modern platform technologies to drive innovation. You will remove technical and organizational barriers within key accounts to establish OpenShift as the preferred platform for application and AI workloads. Your work will help customers use their data to gain a competitive edge. You will confidently present our value proposition to both executives and engineers. You will lead architecture walkthroughs, drive business conversations, and run technical workshops to deploy best practices. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to test, document, and demonstrate new features. You will also partner with sales, customer success, and consulting teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.

• Scope and deliver deep dive presentations, custom demos, workshops and POCs, and provide product support for written proposals such as Request for Proposals.
• Provide deep product and solution expertise as well as pre‑sales assistance.
• Assist in technical strategy approaches for large/strategic opportunities.
• Serve as technical liaison to the respective Product BUs.
• Develop and maintain reusable technical sales assets.
• Become a trusted adviser within RedHat's customer base; build solid, lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide presales technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions.
• Engage with product teams to understand and influence technical roadmaps and recommended practices.
• Engage with partner ecosystems to strengthen customer value proposition.
• Serve as a technical expert for AI/ML workloads on OpenShift, guiding customers through the integration of AI infrastructure, including compute, networking, and storage optimization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help customers navigate the transition of AI/ML initiatives into production environments using OpenShift AI and related AI‑optimized platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent in supporting enterprise accounts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret customer business problems and technical issues and effectively explain how a RedHat solution will address identified challenges, requirements and business opportunities.
• Deep knowledge of OpenShift & Application Services products or strong familiarity of RedHat related products.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service (IaaS) or Platform‑as‑a‑Service (PaaS) solutions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (e.g., model training, inference, distributed workloads, accelerators like GPUs).
• Understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem, including relevant frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and infrastructure requirements for AI workloads (e.g., containerization, orchestration, scaling).
• Ability to engage with technical stakeholders to discuss AI strategy, platform requirements, and the deployment of AI‑ready infrastructure.
