Job summary

IDC Technologies (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an L1 OpenShift support engineer in Singapore to monitor clusters, perform basic troubleshooting, and respond to incidents to keep the platform healthy.

Work with DevOps, Infra and Security, manage user access, assist CI/CD deployments, and document runbooks. 2–3 years of OpenShift/Kubernetes experience and strong Linux command-line skills are preferred.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
Knowledge of Linux systems and command line.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, ingress).
Exposure to banking or financial services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide L1 support for OpenShift platform including monitoring, incident response, and basic troubleshooting.
Monitor cluster health, workloads, and infrastructure using standard tools.
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 with documentation and initial analysis.
Manage user access and perform pod/application restarts.
Support CI/CD deployment activities and runbooks creation.
Maintain platform availability in line with SLAs.
Collaborate with DevOps, Infra, and Security teams to resolve issues.
Create and maintain operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
