Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is seeking a Senior Container Engineer to design, build and operate container platforms across AWS, Azure and on‑premises. You will work in an Agile team to implement Kubernetes‑based solutions, automate provisioning, and enforce security and reliability through CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong DevOps practice, experience with OpenShift, AKS and EKS, plus hands‑on scripting with YAML, Terraform and related tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS or engineering.
• Min 5 years in application development; 3 years DevOps/ container platforms.
• Certifications in OpenShift / AKS / EKS.
• Proficient in OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Docker, Service Mesh, YAML.
• Documentation of architecture and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate container platforms across AWS, Azure and on‑prem environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container deployments.
• Implement security hardening and CIS-aligned practices.
• Automate provisioning of AKS, EKS, and OCP platforms.
• Support service mesh setup and operation.
• Define long‑term strategy, roadmap, and engineering standards for container platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet platform goals.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Nexus in release processes.
