Job summary

Crew in Singapore is seeking a Registered Resident Engineer to lead the on-site construction oversight. You will review project specifications, supervise records, and ensure compliance with Building Control Act & Regulations. Strong coordination with contractors and engineers is essential.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, good knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on site independently.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certificate in Singapore mandatory.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work on-site independently.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and Building Control Act & Regulations.
• Oversee all aspects of the construction project, maintaining and submitting accurate records.
• Provide support and assistance as directed by the Superintending Officer or Professional Engineer.
• Assess temporary works by contractors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure contractors’ working procedures align with method statements and Workplace Safety and Health regulations; recommend modifications as necessary.
• Inspect completed work and prepare defects lists when needed.
