Job summary

CTS OFFSHORE AND MARINE (ASIA) PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site supervisor for overhaul, testing, commissioning, servicing and repair of marine engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke).

The work may occur in Singapore or overseas, including anchorage, port, shipyard or on-board voyages. The role requires preparing service and calibration reports, and engaging in technical discussions with Superintendent and Chief Engineer on job scope and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering with at least 3 years of servicing experience in the marine industry.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Skill of paper work (to make reports in English after completing service work).

Responsibilities

• On site supervision of overhaul, testing & commissioning, servicing and repair jobs of machineries especially engines (2 Stroke and 4 Stroke).
• Site for work can be in Singapore or Overseas, at anchorage, port, Off port limits or shipyard and on-board vessel on voyage repair.
• Prepare service and calibration report of the work activities and spare parts used.
• Able to have technical discussions with Superintendent and Chief engineer on job scope, trouble shooting etc.
• Maintenance jobs in workshop and other ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
