Job summary

JUNMA SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a skilled Marine Engine Service Lead to manage inspection, troubleshooting and overhaul of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines on vessels, yards, and workshops. You will coordinate manpower, monitor progress, test outcomes and ensure proper handover to customers.

The role requires independent leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex technical details to vessel crews and stakeholders while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead engineers, technicians and fitters on site.
• Strong planning and coordination for manpower and schedules.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and overhaul of marine diesel engines onboard vessels and at yards.
• Oversee job preparation, progress monitoring, testing and handover.
• Perform major engine overhauls and component repairs.
• Provide on-site supervision and technical guidance to the service team.
• Coordinate with customers, vessel crew, shipyard personnel and internal departments.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance with procedures.
