Job summary

FOCAL SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to support service activities for engines, turbochargers, and propulsion systems.

You will work with the Service Manager and Superintendent Engineer to address client interactions, schedule coordination, and technical guidance. The role requires at least 3 years in heavy equipment, maritime, or power plant environments, plus hands-on experience with mechanical and automation systems.

Qualifications

Health and safety regulations awareness and compliance.
Experience with engines, turbochargers, propulsion systems.
3+ years in heavy equipment, maritime, or power plant industries.
Hands-on mechanical and automation systems experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Service Manager and Superintendent Engineer with technical input for client interactions.
Coordinate service schedules with project managers, sales, and customers to meet deadlines and specs.
Provide training to staff and customers on procedures.
Assist in warranty investigations and recommend solutions.
Collect market and technical info from service engagements to support sales and improvements.
Execute commissioning, maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and troubleshooting on engines and related systems.
Plan service assignments by determining spare parts and validating procedures and tools.
Perform Last Minute Risk Analysis and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
