Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Controls Project Engineer - Programming in Singapore to provide engineering support from validation to implementation of projects on-site at customer locations. This role requires a diploma/degree in engineering or building control and 1–2 years of relevant experience in PLC programming and HVAC/Building Management Systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or Building Control.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• PLC programming experience is a plus.
• Experience with energy management/HVAC systems and Building Management Systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT networking and database programming; Function Block/Structured Language/HTML5 programming.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, LONTalk protocols.
• Strong customer management and problem solving skills.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the Project team from validation phase to project implementation.
• Identify material and equipment requirements during validation phase.
• Prepare and submit engineering submittals.
• Program devices and create graphics per project requirements.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of system equipment.
• Assist in preparation and submission of operation and maintenance manuals.
• Provide Bill of Quantities for the projects.
• Other duties as assigned; ensure quality and EHS standards.
