Job summary

Carrier in Singapore seeks a motivated engineer-in-training to support application engineers and oversee project sites for building management systems (BMS). The role covers planning, testing, commissioning, software programming, and on-site supervision to meet client specifications and contract requirements.

You will assist senior engineers during project implementation, testing, and troubleshooting, while developing knowledge in HVAC, energy management, and smart building solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong interest in building automation systems, energy efficiency, and smart building solutions.
• Basic understanding of control systems or IT networks is beneficial but not essential.
• Willing to work on construction sites and in high-stress environments; adaptable to odd hours.

Responsibilities

• Support application engineers and manage assigned project sites to meet daily customer and operational requirements, including task coordination, team metrics tracking, and KPI management.
• Assist in planning of BMS works, including testing, commissioning, software programming, and on-site supervision, ensuring compliance with project plans and contract documents.
• Conduct testing and commissioning for BMS, FAS, and Security Systems, including preparation of technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documentation.
