Job summary

JOB EXPRESS SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer or Service Technician to install, commission, and service customer equipment at site. The position is based in Boon Lay, Singapore, with a Mon to Fri schedule and a salary range of SGD 3,000 to 5,000 per month.

The role involves on-site installation, testing, maintenance, SAT support, and strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Test and verify machine operation.
• Configure machine settings per customer requirements.
• Provide SAT support.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
• Repair and replace defective components.
• Minimize machine downtime through troubleshooting.
• Maintain service records and maintenance reports.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support.
• Respond promptly to service requests and breakdowns.
• Advise customers on operation and maintenance best practices.
• Build strong customer relationships and maintain satisfaction.
• Train customers' operators and maintenance personnel.
• Prepare service reports after each visit.
• Maintain installation, maintenance, and repair documentation.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and user guides.
• Provide feedback to engineering and sales teams regarding customer issues and machine improvements.
• Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
