Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for Civil & Structural works in Singapore. The role involves on-site supervision, inspection, and ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with the RE, QP, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver quality project outcomes. The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, 3–5 years of site supervision experience, and familiarity with Singapore

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA preferred.
• Relevant certifications required under Singapore regulations.
• 3–5 years or more of experience in construction site supervision for civil and structural works.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision and inspection of civil and structural works on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Quality assurance: verify works meet project requirements and report defects.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities; attend site meetings.
• Compliance & safety: monitor safety practices and support regulatory inspections.
• Documentation: maintain site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
