Job summary

BMER PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an on-site AV Engineer to test, commission, and support integrated audio-visual systems across projects. You will work with top-brand AV products, assist with upgrades, and coordinate with the Project Lead to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires at least 1 year of AV experience, solid engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency with MS Office is expected, and familiarity with Crestron/Extron/AMX/Biamp is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant AV field experience.
• Solid understanding of AV engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with AV products: Biamp, Crestron, Extron, BOSE, Barco, Poly, Cisco, Logitech.
• Familiar with videowalls, LED, video conferencing, amplifiers, speakers, controls.
• Project management and coordination experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite testing and commissioning of completed projects.
• Identify and resolve issues with defective or malfunctioning equipment.
• Test cables/products before, during, and after installation; rack assembly and setup.
• Oversee onsite testing and commissioning processes.
• Support preventative maintenance, setup, and operation of AV systems.
• Perform system upgrades, troubleshoot incidents and identify root causes.
• Compile and analyze weekly reports and service submissions.
• Communicate progress to Project Lead/Director.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as needed.
