Job summary

VAST Data is seeking a Professional Services Engineer in Singapore to deliver a pristine first experience, performing onsite installations and system relocations across the install base, including rack, cabling, software installation, and expansions. You will be highly technical, stay calm under pressure, and train partners and support teams with runbooks.

Qualifications

5+ years in a similar technical role with storage expertise.
2+ years Linux CLI experience.
Experience designing storage solutions in complex environments.
Familiar with virtualization and containers (VMware, Docker).
Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong customer service and collaborative work style.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel up to 75% and be near an international airport.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot the VAST Data solution in customer environments.
Collaborate with internal teams on product development and process improvements.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in AI storage.
Stay current with latest VAST software releases.
