Qualifications

• 5+ years in a highly technical engineering role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Resident Engineer, Systems Software Engineer, or Senior Systems Engineer with a track record of customer-facing collaboration.
• Composure under pressure with analytical mindset to resolve complex issues.
• Diplomacy and translation: ability to explain complex distributed systems to customers and deadlines to developers.
• Organizational mastery: highly organized and self-directed, with ability to manage customer expectations.
• Continuous learning mindset: curiosity to master new technologies in a fast-evolving ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of customer configurations and production operations from design through production.
• Collaborate with customer engineers to optimize infrastructure throughput and debug issues.
• Translate real-world requirements into actionable product improvements for core development teams.
• Write code for custom API endpoints, automation tools, or scripts to unblock workflows.
• Advocate for customer needs to influence the product roadmap.
