Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking a Process Support Engineer to guide products from concept to qualification with on-site installations, diagnostics and repair of complex systems. You will work closely with customers and R&D to develop leading-edge semiconductor processes and perform DOE-driven experiments.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in a related field and 4–7 years in semiconductor fab or equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science/engineering field.
• 4–7 years of experience in semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of complex systems.
• Collaborate with customers to develop leading-edge processes for advanced semiconductor chips.
• Create experiments (DOE) and analyze data; compile high-level reports on engineering experiments.
• Troubleshoot problems; perform root-cause analyses and resolve diverse issues.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build relationships and trust.
• Apply best practices to offer new perspectives using existing solutions.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and may lead small projects.
