Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia in Singapore is seeking a Process Support Engineer to guide products through their lifecycle, providing high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex equipment. You will be based at customer sites daily, partnering with customers to resolve issues and optimize tool performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field.
• A few years of semiconductor process or equipment experience, preferably RTP/Diffusion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex information and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment
• Work with customers to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture advanced semiconductor chips
• Create DOE experiments, analyze data with statistics, and summarize findings in reports
• Troubleshoot complex problems and perform root-cause analyses for process engineering issues
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build relationships and trust
• Lead small projects with manageable risks and resources as needed
