Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) – Civil & Structural to supervise on-site civil and structural works, ensuring conformity with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. You will work closely with the Qualified Person, Resident Engineer, contractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect civil and structural works on-site to ensure adherence to drawings, specs and safety requirements.
• Verify compliance with project requirements; document defects and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and authorities; attend site meetings and report progress and quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations, WSH requirements and project specs.
• Maintain site diaries, inspection reports and progress records; review shop drawings and method statements.
