Job summary

Engineers 9000 Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise and inspect on-site works for major industrial and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and authority requirements.

You will monitor workmanship, materials, progress, safety, and coordinate with RE, QP, EPC contractors, consultants and clients to resolve site matters; witness inspections and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills with clear written and spoken English.
• Experience supervising site works and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with authority requirements and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect site works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, construction progress and site safety.
• Identify non-compliant works and coordinate rectification actions.
• Witness site inspections, testing and other quality-control activities.
• Maintain clear site reports and inspection records.
• Coordinate with RE, QP, EPC contractors, consultants and clients to resolve site matters.
• Monitor defects and rectification through to completion.
• Support authority inspections and project handover.
