Job summary

Citadel Search invites applications for a Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) to supervise architectural works on a major MRT infrastructure project in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout construction until CWW handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision on MRT/rail/infrastructure projects.
• Experience in MRT, rail, infrastructure or major building projects in Singapore preferred.
• Certified Resident Technical Officer (IES/ACES) holder.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect architectural works on site for MRT project, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and details.
• Coordinate with architectural consultants, design team and project stakeholders on design and site-related matters.
• Review all architectural drawings and prepare RFIs for discrepancies.
• Monitor workmanship and materials, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Inspect and follow up on inspection requests, material submissions, shop drawings, samples and mock-ups.
• Oversee the materials and finishes deployed.
• Monitor and follow up on defects, non-conforming works and rectification works.
• Monitor architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, civil and railway systems.
• Provide daily/weekly updates on Contractor progress, site observations and outstanding issues.
• Attend site and progress meetings and provide updates on architectural works.
• Assist in monitoring testing, completion, defects and handover of architectural works.
