ASCENDION ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Operations DBA to support a mission-critical environment.

The role centers on 24/7 production stability, high availability, incident response, and disaster recovery for MSSQL Server and MongoDB. You will collaborate with Day 2 Infra Engineers, System Engineers, Software Engineers, and Security teams, participate in on-call rotations, and perform performance tuning, health checks, and security-compliant practices in a

Qualifications

5–8+ years of DBA experience.
Strong MS SQL Server (Always On/HA) and MongoDB expertise.
Experience with 24/7 mission-critical systems.
Experience handling Severity 1 production incidents.
Experience supporting application deployment (data patching, data seed).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

24/7 Production Database Operations with L2/L3 support for MSSQL and MongoDB in production and DR environments.
High Availability & Reliability Management for MSSQL Always On and MongoDB replica sets.
Performance & Capacity Management: health checks, slow queries, indexing, and capacity forecasting.
Change & Release Support: review scripts, data patching, migrations, and rollback procedures.
Security & Compliance (Government environment): RBAC, auditing, vulnerability remediation, audit readiness.
