Job summary

MINDTECK SINGAPORE PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Database Administrator (MSSQL & MongoDB) to support Day 2 operations in a secured environment, focusing on production stability, high availability, incident response, and disaster recovery for 24/7 services.

You will work with Day 2 Infra, System, and Software Engineers, handle Always On and replica sets, performance tuning, and security/compliance requirements for government-facing systems.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of DBA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Always On/HA) and MongoDB.
• Experience supporting 24/7, mission-critical systems.
• Experience handling Severity 1 production incidents.
• Experience in deployment support (data patching, data seed etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production database support for MSSQL and MongoDB.
• Maintain Always On availability groups and replica sets; perform backups/restores.
• Monitor performance, conduct query plan analysis and index tuning.
• Lead DR drills and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with Day 2 Infra/System engineers and security/compliance teams.
