You will drive automation and Tier 2/3 BAU operations, collaborating with application owners and infrastructure teams to ensure secure access and compliant workflows using Okta APIs and governance capabilities.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Okta & IGA Engineer to support application onboarding, identity integrations, automation, and Tier 2/3 BAU operations within an enterprise environment.

Key Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of hands-on IAM experience, with strong enterprise Okta experience.
• Strong expertise in Okta SSO, MFA, lifecycle management and authorization servers.
• Hands-on experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
• Experience onboarding SaaS, cloud and internal applications into Okta.
• Strong experience with Agentless SSO / header-based authentication, particularly for legacy applications.
• Programming experience in JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Python, C#, or Go, with the ability to work with Okta APIs and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Okta Identity Governance (OIG) or other IGA platforms, particularly Access Certification Campaigns and access revocation workflows.
• Strong Tier 2/3 production support and troubleshooting experience within an Okta environment.
• Experience with Active Directory, SPNs and Kerberos is highly valued.
• Good understanding of Network Zones, IdP routing and authentication workflows.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, working with application owners and infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
• Okta certification (Professional, Administrator, Consultant or Developer) is preferred/required.
