Job summary

Austen Maritime Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced project professional to support major asset repair and life extension programmes. You will liaise with onshore, offshore, and shipyard stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes planning, cost control, vendor management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams to achieve milestones and maintain safety and quality across international shipyards.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ATEX regulations and inspection requirements.
• Experience with Classification Society and Flag State requirements in offshore/marine/energy sectors.
• Proven track record in budget management, cost control and project financial reporting.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on complex maintenance or modification projects.
• Familiarity with MoC processes and asset integrity management systems.
• Experience working with offshore Operations, shipyards and international vendor networks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Lead in planning, development, and execution of project schedules with key milestones.
• Assist with budget preparation, cost control, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Monitor resource allocation and man-hour expenditure to optimize productivity.
• Manage third-party vendors and contractors, including contract administration and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate vendor activities across shipyard locations to meet objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in developing technical work packs, scopes, and execution plans.
• Interface with offshore/onshore operations to identify and deliver work scopes.
• Manage MoC processes and ensure safe implementation of modifications.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports highlighting status, risks, issues, and mitigations.
• Conduct audits, inspections and quality reviews to ensure compliance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to update CMMS with modifications and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and report performance against KPIs.
