Job summary

Fugro Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to lead offshore geotechnical investigations in the APAC region, coordinating the client, vessel and offshore project team from Singapore and globally.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years in offshore geotechnical projects; PM certification is advantageous. Excellent English communication is essential; international opportunities may be available within Fugro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with ≥5 years relevant experience.
• Offshore geotechnical experience or offshore drilling experience preferred.
• Professional Certification in Project Management is an advantage.
• Strong interest in project management and liaison between client, vessel and subcontractors.
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore geotechnical investigations according to Fugro PM handbook.
• Work closely with Tendering, Operations, Vessel Management and Geotechnical Engineering Teams.
• Pre-plan fieldwork and liaise with Client to confirm scope and deliverables.
• Prepare Project Execution Plans, Quality Plans, HSSE Plans and Emergency Response Plans.
• Communicate specifications within the project team.
• Control project budgets and invoices; recover costs where appropriate.
• Adhere to Fugro QHSE Systems and promote safety.
• Prepare invoicing information for client dispatch.
• Seek to improve project performance and competitiveness.
• Support mobilizations and action on critical line items.
• Ensure project experience is captured for learning.
