Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Safety Engineering or related field.
• Certification in ATEX/IECEx/NEC or equivalent mandatory.
• Experience on FPSO or offshore construction projects highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• You supervise construction activities in explosive environments (classified areas) according to safety standards.
• You inspect hazardous area zones to ensure proper classifications and protective measures.
• You oversee explosion protection methods and installation of explosion-proof equipment.
• You verify electrical equipment, wiring, and instrumentation for compliance.
• You ensure records, inspections, NCRs, and corrective actions are properly documented.
• You conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety across the site.
• You identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions with the team.
