Job summary

KIDZ MEADOW CHILDCARE & DEVELOPMENT CENTRE LIMITED is seeking a caregiver/teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities, plan curricula and nurture young learners. You will document progress, prepare semester portfolios and maintain strong relationships with families.

Role requires LON EY2ECDA and ACEY certifications, strong communication in English and Chinese, and a positive, nurturing attitude. Centre hours are Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts and a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Must hold LON EY2 certification from ECDA.
• Must have ACEY certification.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with children and parents.
• Proficiency in Chinese at N/O Level; able to communicate in English & Chinese with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned with centre policies and framework.
• Plan and deliver school curriculum with age-appropriate teaching aids to foster holistic learning and development.
• Engage children meaningfully through effective communication and nurture them with love and affection.
• Document children’s progress and address educational and developmental needs.
• Complete progress reports and development portfolios each semester.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children and their parents.
• Support simple Chinese teaching and communication during classroom activities.
