Job summary

Kidz Meadow Childcare & Development Centre Limited in Singapore seeks a dedicated early childhood teacher to plan and deliver age-appropriate curriculum, support Chinese language activities, and maintain a nurturing learning environment for children. You will document progress and prepare semester reports while building strong relationships with families.

Candidates should hold LON L2 ECDA certification or DECCE-T with relevant experience, and be able to communicate in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• LON L2 Certification from ECDA required.
• Trained in DECCE-T with at least 1 year of related experience (preferred).
• Good command of English and Chinese with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned with centre’s policies and framework.
• Plan and deliver school curriculum using age-appropriate teaching aids to foster holistic learning and development.
• Support simple Chinese teaching and communication during classroom activities.
• Set up an engaging learning environment and maintain upkeep of teaching resources, materials and displays in the classroom.
• Engage the children meaningfully through effective communication and nurture them with love and affection.
• Document children’s progress and address their educational and developmental needs.
• Complete the progress report and developmental portfolio for each child every semester.
• Carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Build and maintain positive relationship with children and their parents.
