Job summary

Safari House PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced early years teacher to plan and supervise classroom programmes in line with our centre's policies.

You will prepare progress reports and portfolios for children, and create a stimulating environment promoting self-directed learning. The role requires EY2 ECDA certification, ACEY certification, excellent communication, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• ACEY certification is required.
• ECDA EY2 certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centre’s policies and framework.
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes self-directed learning.
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carry out routine care duties to ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties.
• Build and maintain close partnership with parents.
