Job summary

invites applications for a Nursing Education & Training role to support planning, coordinating, and implementing education, training, and professional development programmes for nursing staff. The candidate will develop and review curricula based on clinical practice, assess nurse competencies, identify training needs, monitor programme effectiveness, and provide guidance to nurses in their professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or Masters in Nursing Education is an added advantage.
• Possess valid Singapore Nursing Board practising certificate for Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director, Nursing Education & Training in planning, coordinating, and implementing nursing education, training, and professional development programmes.
• Assist in developing and reviewing training curricula based on clinical practice and training needs.
• Assess nurses' competencies regularly to ensure they meet professional and quality nursing standards.
• Identify training needs and support the delivery of education and competency development programmes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses in their professional development.
• Conduct performance appraisals for junior staff within the department.

Education
