Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents in a nursing home setting in Singapore. You will work with doctors and the care team to ensure timely treatments and holistic resident care.

You will supervise nursing staff, maintain accurate clinical records, manage supplies, uphold infection prevention and safety standards, and communicate effectively with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate.
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Strong clinical knowledge with leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans to meet residents’ clinical and care needs.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions, administer prescribed treatments and medications, and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.
• Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals, caregivers, and other care team members to ensure coordinated and holistic resident care.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, clinical records, and reports in accordance with regulatory and organisational requirements.
• Support the smooth daily operations of the nursing home, including monitoring medical supplies and ensuring appropriate infection prevention and safety practices.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and mentor nursing staff and healthcare assistants to promote professional development and maintain high standards of resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families or caregivers, providing appropriate updates, education, and support on care needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent recognised nursing qualification.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate.
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Strong clinical knowledge with good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in a nursing home, community care, or a supervisory/clinical leadership role will be an advantage.
